WMVY, also called Mvyradio, is an American non-commercial FM radio station which is licensed to the town of Tisbury, Massachusetts, and also serves Edgartown, both of them on the island of Martha's Vineyard.

This station is a community-oriented adult album alternative radio station owned by Friends of Mvyradio, Inc.
This radio station is one of the most streamed internet radio stations in the world. Mvyradio programs are available in multiple formats including MP3, WMA and RealAudio, and it is a featured station on Apple's iTunes radio tuner service.
In a more technical speech, from 2005 and for a few years, this station had two additional translator stations on Cape Cod which were W230AW (93.9 FM) in Centerville and W264BA (100.7 FM) in Harwich Port. The first one currently rebroadcasts WFRQ, while the second one rebroadcasts WKFY on 100.5 as W263CU.
WMVY was born in 1981 and from that year to 2012 it was a commercial radio station on 92.7 FM in Tisbury. The station was listened to in both southeastern Massachusetts and the area around Newport, Rhode Island, despite being a class A FM signal transmitting from Martha's Vineyard.
WMVY’s operations were split during its last few years broadcasting on 92.7 FM between two companies. The station was owned by Aritaur Communications while the Web presence and online streaming were managed by mvyradio, LLC.
In 2012, a Boston NPR affiliate called WBUR FM announced that they would buy WMVY and transform it into a repeater of WBUR FM. The purchase price was $715 000. That is how the program of Mvyradio was transferred to the Friends of Mvyradio as a non-commercial Internet-only station.
So, from 2013 to 2018, the radio station was heard on 96.5 FM in Newport, but now it directly rebroadcasts WMVY.
